Founded in 2001, Novamente LLC is a 15 person software company, headquartered in San Francisco with a development office in Rockville, MD (near Washington DC). From 2001-2006 Novamente operated as an AI consulting company, applying its AI technologies to serve customers such as Northrop-Grumman, the NIH Clinical Center, the CDC, Global Health Exchange, CACI, Object Sciences Corporation, Zero Degrees and Think Passenger. In early 2007, Novamente reoriented with a focus on virtual worlds and MMOGs.
